Dates:  Sunday 8th December to Friday 13th December 2019.

At August 13th 2019, places are almost full - only seven places for male students and 10 places for female students still available.
The Engineering Summer School:   
  • Is a fully residential program open to students in NSW & ACT
  • There a places for 100 Year 11 students.
  • Applications open June 30th.
  • Cost is $770 per student plus travel.
  • Program dates: Sun. 8/12/19 – Fri. 13/12/19
Students stay at Sydney University. They will be divided into groups of 10 and will be supervised by a “house leader” responsible to look after their team for the duration of the program.
Some sponsorship may be available to assist with the cost. Download the Youth Program Financial Sponsorship Agreement for details. A completed agreement is essential prior to acceptance to the program.

Students visit some the following universities during The Engineering Summer School:

  • University of NSW
  • University of Technology, Sydney
  • University of Wollongong
  • University of Sydney
  • Macquarie University
In addition, the students will visit four engineering sites (site tours) and attend a careers event with engineering professionals, providing the students with the ability to ask an engineer questions to assist them in their future studies.
The Engineering Summer School is now supported by the Office of NSW Chief Scientist & Engineer. Hence the name change.
It is exactly the same program with the same aims & objectives as Honeywell.
