OVERVIEW

Externally facilitated over 5 days, ESS brings together students who are about to enter their final year of high school (Year 12) in NSW and ACT. It provides students with the opportunity to aid them in their decision of which engineering discipline and university they wish to study.

In previous years students enjoyed immersive workshops at University of Sydney, University of NSW, UTS, Macquarie & University of Wollongong and saw behind the scenes at RAAF Richmond, Bluescope Steel, Cochlear and Thales (the program may vary slightly each year).

Other highlights include career chats with Young Engineers & Graduates and an Official Awards Dinner.

Note: The Engineering Summer School is recognised by involved universities.  Attendance is acknowledged and can contribute to supporting each student’s ATAR scores when applying for degree courses.
