RYTS Camp - 25 Years Running and Still Going Strong!

RYTS 2007 - Tyalgum Ridge Retreat. A week of fun, entertainment and laughter.

In 2007 our fun loving, highly spirited team of 14 young people, in their 20's, came together after a 6 month planning period, to form an amazing, committed team to implement a program we call (RYTS) Regional Youth Transition Seminar.

The camp consisting of 60 year 11 and 12 students, with the support of Rotary Clubs from the Gold Coast to Grafton to Glen Innes to Goondiwindi, experienced a week of fun, motivation, interaction, understanding, music and laughter.

The week long camp focused its main theme on ‘Life Skills’ and includes sessions on motivation, public speaking, self-identity, finances, goal setting and more.

With entertainment, loud music, and loads of fun thrown in between the more serious parts, the camp was again a major success for all who attended.

Thank you to the supporting Rotary Clubs and all the students who attended in 2007 for your wonderful support.

The 2008 camp will be held at Camp Bornhoffen, (on the Nerang Murwillumbah road), on the 6th-12th December. The RYTS team are now working to provide another inspirational week for all who attend.
