1. rOTary auSTralIa WOrlD COmmuNITy SErvICE lImITED (raWCS): Promotes practical World Community Service projects. This committee co-ordinates World Community Service information and the activities of the FAIM, IPAC, WCS, DIK, SWSL, Stamps, RAM and ROTAP committees.

(a) Project volunteers: formerly known as faIm: (fourth avenue in motion)
Provides information and assistance with the organisation of teams of volunteer workers who desire to travel to developing countries and carry out projects for the benefit of local communities in those countries.

(b) IPaC-Project 36/2009-10: Sponsoring education for children in Indonesia:
Promotes annual donations of $110 for the educational and recreational support of under-privileged children in Indonesia at Salvation Army Hostels.

(c) Donations in Kind (D-I-K): Arranges the collection by clubs, the packing and transporting of books, hospital, educational and other equipment to our near neighbours in developing countries.

(d) Project funding / volunteers - Save Water Save lives (SWSl): Promotes the provision of equipment and
training of people in developing areas/countries to build a secure supply of clean water for drinking and sanitation.

(e) rotarians against malaria (ram): Promotes an awareness program to heighten the need for a concentrated effort to address the ravages of malaria.

(f ) Stamps: Organises the collection and disposal of used stamps to provide funds for World Community Service projects.


2. ROTARY OCEANIA MEDICAL AID FOR CHILDREN (ROMAC)

Mission Statement

"To provide medical treatment for children from developing countries in the form of life saving and/or dignity restoring surgery"

Objectives

To provide hope where there is no hope
To restore human dignity to human life
To transform a child's life
To provide the best medical and surgical expertise
To provide an opportunity to mend the broken lives of young people from developing countries
To engage Rotary at a District, National and International level
Then medical processes can hopefully be repeated many times to benefit not just a selected few, but ultimately become available to many through the expansion of ROMAC's ideals throughout the world

3. INTErPlaST: A partnership between the Australasian College of Surgeons and Rotary. It undertakes programs of plastic and reconstructive surgery in developing countries, predominantly in the Pacific Islands and South East Asia.


4. rOTary frIENDShIP EXChaNGE (rfE): Promotes and organises District to District exchanges in which Rotarians /Partners pay their own fares on overseas trips and are hosted by local Rotarian families on an exchange basis.
