ALLIANCE TEAM

The role of the District Alliance team is to coordinate the communication to all Rotary Clubs in the District regarding:

  • New "World Pilot" Corporate Alliance Partnerships
  • Alliance fundraising preferred offers to Rotary Clubs and Rotarians
  • Rotarians Awareness Events Programs

Initial "World Pilot" Corporate Alliance Partners/Supporters in Community Service with Australian Rotarians are Citibank and St George Bank.


CLUBMATE

Promotes and assists the use, by Clubs, of the computer software programme "CLUBMATE", for both Secretaries and Treasurers.


RDU REPRESENTATIVE

The representative is a liaison between Rotary Down Under and District 9640 and between the District and the clubs for the promotion of Rotary Down Under activities.


MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, EXTENSION & RETENTION

This committee advises clubs on the promotion and expansion of membership in existing clubs as well as providing assistance and advice to clubs on the procedure to follow in forming a new Rotary Club. Any Club that is interested in forming a new club should first consult the District Governor and make contact with the Extension Chairperson who will provide forms detailed information and assistance. This committee can also advise clubs on "things to do and not to do", to assist in retaining members.


RESOLUTIONS

This committee is responsible for the presentation of resolutions to the Annual District Conference. No resolution, other than courtesy resolutions and resolutions of appreciation, shall be considered by a Conference unless the proposed resolution has been in the hands of the District Governor no later than sixty three days prior to the first day of the Annual District Conference. All such resolutions, together with such information pertaining to the content of the resolution as considered appropriate, shall be sent by the District Governor to all Clubs, through Club Presidents, for prior consideration, no later than forty-two days prior to the first day of the Annual District Conference.


 

PUBLIC RELATIONS & ROTARYS IMAGE

Provides expertise and assistance to Clubs and District Committees for the publicity of newsworthy Rotary activities to all forms of media in the District


YEP TRUST FUND ADVISORY

The fund shall have an advisory committee, to make recommendations to the Trustees, regarding student assistance.


YEP TRUST FUND

This fund has been established to utilise any surplus funds from the operation of the Youth Exchange Committee and the Youth Exchange Gift Shop by providing assistance to financially disadvantaged students selected for the Youth Exchange Program. The Trust Fund shall have five Trustees, being the District Governor, immediate Past District Governor, District Governor Elect, Chairman of the District Committee and the District Treasurer.
