Make Rotary your Home Page

Are you an Internet user? (If you are reading this, then chances are you are ;-) )

How many of us connect to the Internet and immediately see a default home page? This may have been set by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or by some other software but rarely, if ever, will it have been chosen by you.

This can be easily remedied. Your Home Page is your choice! Why not keep abreast of the latest Rotary news in our District? The address (called the 'URL') of the District Website is: http://www.Rotary9640.org
To make this address your Home Page follow these simple steps:

In Netscape; Start Netscape. Go to Edit\Preferences\Navigator You will then see a box entitled "Home Page" and an address following the word "Location:". Click in the box next to the old address. Backspace to remove the old address and then type the address above. Save your changes. Next time you start Navigator or when you click on the Home button you will go straight to the Rotary page.

In Internet Explorer; Start Internet Explorer. Go to Tools\Internet Options\General. You will then see a box entitled "Home Page" and an address following the word "Address:". Click in the box next to the old address. Backspace to remove the old address and then type the address above. Save your changes. Next time you start Internet Explorer or when you click on the Home button you will go straight to the Rotary page. Easy! Enjoy your surfing and keep up with Rotary happenings the easy way.
